Who we are

This website, plexblocks.com, is run by ConicPlex, a software and WordPress studio based in Gujarat, India. PlexBlocks is our set of free block plugins for the WordPress editor. When this page says we, us or ConicPlex, it means that studio.

What we collect on this website

You can read this site without giving us any personal details. Like almost every website, our servers and our content delivery network keep basic technical records when a page is requested:

your IP address, browser type and operating system
the pages you visited and the date and time of the visit
the page that sent you here, if there was one

If you write to us, we keep your message and the email address you used so that we can answer you.

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare, which delivers this site and runs a small analytics script that counts visits and page views. It does not use cookies and does not follow you from one site to another. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies of our own. WordPress sets a login cookie for people who sign in to the admin area, which is limited to our team.

Data our plugins send to us

This section is about the PlexBlocks plugins you install on your own site, not about visiting this website. When you activate, deactivate or uninstall one of our plugins, it sends an automated request to the ConicPlex server so that we can count installs and removals. The request contains:

the action: activation, deactivation or uninstallation
the administrator email address of the site
the site URL
the plugin name, version and text domain
the WordPress version
the site language and timezone

We use this only to improve the plugins, keep them compatible with new WordPress versions and give support. We do not sell, rent or share it with third parties, and we never use it for advertising or for unrelated emails. If you do not agree, do not install or activate the plugins. How we use information

to answer messages and give support
to understand which pages are read, so we can improve them
to keep the plugins working and compatible
to keep the website secure and to meet legal duties

Who we share it with

We do not sell, trade or rent personal information. We use a few service providers to run the site, such as our hosting provider and Cloudflare. They process data for us under their own terms. We may also share information when the law requires it.

When a plugin page on this site shows the version or number of installs, our server asks the WordPress.org plugin directory for those figures. That request comes from our server and does not include any visitor details.

How long we keep it

We keep support messages and plugin records for as long as they are useful for support and product work, and delete them when you ask us to. Server and analytics records are kept for a short period by the providers that hold them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of sending data over the internet or storing it is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to:

ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
ask us to delete your information
ask us to limit how we use it
ask us to move it to another service

Children

This website and our plugins are meant for site owners and developers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will say so on this site.
